1895 - 1917 AIF 26th Battalion.

Service No 4191.

Sadly killed in Belgium beside his faithful Bundaberg comrade Thomas Brown while they acted as runners, Anzac House, Ypres.

Now 100 years since memorial inserted by his loving brothers Alan, Douglas and Maurice Paterson.

Remembered again today through poems Jack wrote for his friend Gladys McGinley
