Your say: Gladstone's favourite pubs and clubs

GLADSTONE residents have plenty of favourites when it comes to pubs and clubs around town.

We asked our Facebook likers to nominate their favourite pub or club, and there was a varied range of answers.

Desley Turner said Harvey Road Tavern had the best service and friendly staff.

David Weir liked the Club Hotel, saying it had the best cold beer with a nice head.

"Always delish," he commented.

Desley O'Grady liked the Calliope Central Bowls Club.

The Young Australian Hotel was popular with Karl Decker and Leonie King.

"It's always so friendly, beer is cold and meals are great," Karl said.

Leonie said the Young Oz had great meals.

Taylah Robertson was a fan of the Rocky Glen, while Shannon Bartlett liked the Tannum pub.

Helen Baxter also nominated the Rocky Glen Hotel, saying it was always great for Saturday lunch, with great food and friendly staff.

Bobbi McPaul was a fan of the Tannum Sands Surf Club, while Tiffany Holmes liked the Raglan Tavern.
