Would you live in this dream home? And yes it's in Gladstone
IT'S NOT the first time this business has won an award for their stunning designs, and it's unlikely to be its last.
Gladstone Drafting has brought home awards in two categories of the Building Designers Association of Queensland - Central Queensland Regional Awards.
One of them was Residential Design - New Houses up to $500,000 construction costs for a house at 117 Tulipwood Court.
The modern house has open space living and spruikes itself as the perfect environment for a family or couples.
"This lot was also an award-winning display home for local builder CCF Homes," Gladstone Drafting's Vicki Buenen said.
"It won the 2013 HIA Regional Display Home of the year."
The home has four bedrooms, two open space living areas, a double garage, and a large kitchen.
"Traditional spaces were reinvented to create better flow in work spaces and living zones," Vicki said.
"And the builder's selection of furnishings and decor used highlighted and complemented the design, and helped to provide the wow factor the client was chasing for this display home."
The other award the business took home was Industrial Building for a house at 6 Bensted Rd.
"The owners of this house, Greg Upton and Jeanette Matslofva Upton required a quality, higher end modern industrial building with large front reception, multiple office spaces and large rear workshop," she said.
"Also built by CCF Homes, it's a testament to the great relationship we have with the builders and the clients."
Both these entries will now go up against others in the state at an awards night on July 15 in Brisbane.
