Women's day speaker shows how to redesign your life
JUDY Reynolds has been a Gladstone gal for much of her life, but an epiphany started a revolution whereby she "redesigned" her own life.
She spends much of her time helping other women do the same, and realise their full potential in today's society.
Ms Reynolds will be the guest speaker at the Australian Institute of Management Gladstone's International Women's Day lunch on Friday.
"I realised I could choose to live a different life," she said.
This led to her reviewing her client's stories.
"Those who had it together, they said when I make a decision what impact does it have on my life plan? Those struggling were asking about what impact would it have on my business?"
After selling her accounting business, she moved to the Sunshine Coast, a place that reminds her that, "I don't need to get back in that crazy world of 'busy-ness'".
"It comes down to focus, understanding what you want out of life, and what you aspire to," she said.
"It's important we know what we want out of life, and to be aware of when we're on track or off, and being able to influence ourselves back on track."
