Weather wrap: Soak up warm weather while it lasts
DAYTIME temperatures have showed a traditional Gladstone winter this week, with many residents able to still wear their T-shirts by lunch time.
But it won't be for much longer with a cool change coming.
This week maximum temperatures have reached up to 27-28 degrees, the same is forecast for tomorrow.
Bureau of Meteorology weather forecaster Damian Ousley said a cold front is moving along the east coast, and it should reach Gladstone soon.
The maximum temperatures could drop to 22 - 23 degrees early next week.
A strong south easterly is also forecast, reaching 10 - 15 knots today and 15 - 20 on Saturday.
"With that south easterly change there will be light winds and a better chance of rain.
"We're expecting it to be partly cloudy on Saturday, and there's a 40% chance of rain on Sunday," he said.
