LATEST: Gladstone's Chyanne Downing and her Queensland team suffered their first loss at the Australian Under-19 Women's Softball Championships.

After wins against ACT, South Australia and Victoria, hosts New South Wales beat Queensland 10-4 in Blacktown.

But Queensland rebounded against Western Australia this morning to win its fourth game 4-3.

Queensland will play South Australia at 3.30pm today and meet Victoria and New South Wales later tomorrow.

This time, Gladstone's Chyanne Downing is currently in the Queensland side which has won its first three games at the Australian Under-19 Women's Softball Championships in Blacktown, New South Wales.

After the successes of Josh Ferguson (Queensland U17), Nick Gehrmann and Nick Noonan (Queensland Storm U15) with their respective teams' national titles, Downing will be a key cog for a potential triple treat of Queensland championships.

Queensland beat ACT 5-1 and then backed it up with a 9-6 win against South Australia and looked every part as the defending Elinor Mackenzie Shield title holders.

Downing pitched against the South Australians.

Queensland smashed Victoria 16-1 this afternoon at 1pm and is currently up against New South Wales.

Downing and her Queensland team take on Western Australia at 10.30am tomorrow followed by a stoush against South Australia at 3.30pm.

Games against Victoria and New South Wales follow on Wednesday at 3.30pm and again at 6pm respectively.
