Two cars collide, hit tree on busy Toowoomba street

A VEHICLE hit a tree after first colliding with another vehicle at the intersection of North St and Ruthven St.

The crash occurred about 11am and injured two people.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics are assessing both patients, who appear to have minor injuries.

Earlier, paramedics were called to a crash on the Warrego Highway after a motorist hit a pole, about 8.30am

The driver sustained minor injuries and required a trip to the Toowoomba Hospital.
