Advocate covers Christian radio, catering company, cyclists
WE HAVE another cracker edition of the Community Advocate for you this week.
Our cover story is about a Christian radio station that operates out of Gladstone.
91.1 Fresh FM may have Christianity at its core, but the station is mostly about good old-fashioned family values.
"There's no smut on our airwaves.
"It's the station you can listen to with the kids in the car," general manager Vicki Buchanan said.
We also meet the lady behind Savour the Flavour.
Janelle Noonan runs the Gladstone-based catering company, which fed attendees at the recent Rio Tinto PCYC Ball.
And we speak to angry cyclists who desperately want improved infrastructure for our region.
Reporter Kara Irving is at it again in her column What Gets My Goat.
This week it's emotional outbursts that catch you unawares.
We catch up with Gail Sellers in a Minute with the Mayor, plus instructor Candita Hamblin explains how to navigate roadworks in Everyday Driving.
