THE Million Paws Walk is one of RSPCA's biggest fundraising events of the year, and it's on again this weekend at Canoe Point.

President Judy Whicker is urging folks to come along with their dogs on leads on Sunday and get out in the fresh air while supporting this worthy cause.

One of Australia's leading dog trainers, Steve Austin, will be a special guest at the fundraiser, courtesy of Midday Rotary.

Steve will answer questions pet owners may have about animals and will present prizes to the lucky winners of each category of the walk.

He will also hold a seminar at the end of the walk for anyone with problem dogs.

Up to Friday, you can register online for the event at millionpawswalk.com.au.

You can also register at Gladstone Property Plus, at the bottom end of Goondoon St, or sign up on the day.

Registration opens at 7am and the walk beings at 9.30am and ends at about noon.

Registration fees on the day are adults $15, children under 16 $10, a family of two adults and two children is $35, and concession is $10.
