Thieves kick in doors to steal from Toowoomba family


A KEARNEYS SPRING home sustained extensive damage during a burglary that ended with the offenders leaving in a stolen car.

An unknown number of offenders used force to remove a security screen and gain entry to rear of a Hoepper St home, between 8-11pm Sunday,

A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman said the thieves stole the keys to a silver, 2012 Honda CRV (QLD rego 040YVM) before leaving with the vehicle.

They also caused significant damage to the interior of the home, kicking in several doors.

The police investigation continues, and the Honda is yet to be recovered.
