There's no stopping powerhouse 'Batchy'

CRICKET: If the weather gods are smiling, then it's all at BITS Oval on Sunday.

Gladstone and Rockhampton will go head-to-head from 9.30am in a battle for bragging rights.

Veteran BITS' all-rounder Jason Batchelor is bullish of his team's chances in the 40-over game.

"I think we've got a great side with in-form players with bat and ball,” he said.

The Rocky team will be without the services of guns Aaron Harmsworth and Joe McGahan, but have probably the most in-form player in opener Sam Chew.

Batchelor, 44, who moved from Yaralla to play at the top level at BITS, said he'll play the game for as long as he wants to.

"I'll play cricket for as long as my body lets me,” he said.
