Teams will fight for the ultimate feeling in two codes

BASKETBALL/TOUCH FOOTBALL: There will be no shortage of deciders tomorrow in Gladstone.

Gladstone Touch Association, Gladstone Port Curtis Touch Association and the Gladstone Amateur Basketball Associations (GABA) will host their grand finals at Briffney Touch Fields, Gladstone Hockey Fields and Kev Broome Stadium respectively.

Blue Devils will attempt to win a fifth successive premiership in the Premier League basketball decider when it takes on Red Devils tomorrow at 6.30pm at Kev Broome.

GABA seniors co-ordinator Kelly McEachran said it will be an exciting day and evening.

"We're hoping for a big crowd and bar and canteen will be operating," she said.

There will be presentations after each of the five games.

Devilicious Red veteran Kellie Green said it's been a challenging season as her team attempts back-to-back flags.

"We had a hard season with injuries and sickness in families, but we are in full force for tomorrow," she said.

"Lions should be nervous and they are minor premiers.

"We have nothing to lose and that will help us play hard and focus on doing our best."

Hori Club's Laurie Meredith and Ben Bultreys, from the Ocean Tyres team, will be opposed in the men's Gladstone Port Curtis Touch Association decider.

Meredith expects a tough contest with no inch given.

"It will be a hard game and will be taking it seriously of course," he said.

Both teams will be sprinkled with youth and Bultreys hinted the pressure will be on Hori Club.

"It will be a tough and intense game and we haven't beaten them all year," he said.

"Both teams will be fast and furious and will have young kids playing in it as well."
