Gladstone GP Superclinic evolves with walls now up
ONLOOKERS were awed by sights of a 130-tonne crane hoisting the walls of the new Gladstone GP Superclinic into position yesterday.
This comes just weeks after several concrete slabs remained to consolidate the Phillip St, Kin Kora, worksite.
All of the steel work is expected to be done by Christmas, with staff saying they hope the roof will be completed a short time after.
Practice manager Jodie Myers said staff and patients were excited about the development.
"We have been waiting years for this to happen so we can't wait for it to be completed," she said.
Dr John Bird said construction coincided with the practice's new 9am-5pm, seven days a week, trading.
