Sunken tugboat refloated

THE sunken tugboat that claimed the life of its captain was refloated yesterday after a salvage operation started last week.

A spokesman for Maritime Safety Queensland said that the vessel Adonis was being moved to a secure location alongside a barge in the Western Basin.

Maritime Safety Queensland and Queensland Water Police will then continue a joint investigation into the incident.

A separate inquiry is being conducted by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
