THE students were nervous in the lead-up, but the only tears at the Rosella Park School annual celebration concert on Wednesday came from the proud parents in the audience.

Principal Kate Russ said all of the school's 75 students performed in the singing, dancing and drama, with plenty of support from 50 teachers and teacher aides.

"They've been practising since term three, and they do get excited - and just a bit anxious," Ms Russ said.

"But every year they rise to the occasion and do a great job."

Ms Russ said plenty of parents and community supporters had flocked to see the show.

"It's a great time to celebrate the students' achievements throughout the year and the journey they've been on."
