Stars of dance, song to feature at GECC opening dinner

IT'S MASSIVE and set to bring a vast array of entertainment to Gladstone.

What is it? The Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.

And to officially open the finished product of this regional masterpiece, the centre will be celebrating with Journey.

The official opening dinner features Li Cunxin and Wendy Matthews.

Cunxin, subject of the biography, Mao's Last Dancer, came from an impoverished village in China and is now artistic director of the Queensland Ballet.

Wendy Matthews is a multi-ARIA Award winner and one of Australia's leading female singers.

This is one feast of entertainment you will not want to miss.
