Junior golfers welcome
GOLF: Calliope Golf Club will hold Junior Golf Beginner Clinics for kids aged from six years and above as well as those who play in six and nine-hole competitions.
Gold clubs can be provided and these clinics are designed to introduce the game and further develop skills.
The clinics start from Thursday, February 23 from 4-4.45pm.
Further clinics will follow same time each Thursday at a cost of $3 per child.
Anyone for tennis?
TENNIS: The Tannum Sands Tennis Club is having its sign on day this Sunday from 4pm.
It's for adults and juniors who want to play in a semi-competitive, yet social environment.

Claws put on clinic
NETBALL: Rockhampton Leagues Club Capricorn Claws junior netball clinics in Gladstone and Biloela this Sunday
The Gladstone clinic runs from 9-11am followed by the Biloela clinic from 2-4pm.
Almost 30 juniors have already registered for both clinics but more players are welcome.
There will be 12 Claws Open and U19 players attending the Clinics to help the juniors with their netball skills.
Players aged from 8 to 13 years can attend the sessions.

RUNNING: The Gladstone Road Runners Club welcome novices to their Come and Try on Thursday, February 16.
Simply go at the Duck Ponds on Glenlyon Road opposite Meteors Soccer Club at 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start.
