South Gladstone in high demand because of convenience

Mrs Vicente said agents had seen rental prices come back slightly with more homes becoming available for rent in the region, along with the correction of house prices steadying to a more sustainable level.
"South Gladstone is quite a central suburb and is located close by Barney Point beach," she said.
Domain.com.au shows the median house prices for the area are $435,000, with the local government area median price listed as $462,000.
The median house price for units is $305,000 in comparison to the LGA price of $377,000.
Within the past 12 months the highest price paid for a house in South Gladstone was $870,000, according to domain.com.au.
