School holiday fun at the Gladstone Library

IN a fun-filled day out yesterday, children made an array of dinosaur puppets and figurines to kick off the school break.

Children headed to the Gladstone City Library to take part in craft activities.

"Today I've been making all sorts of things like a dinosaur and a castle with a knight popping out of it," Jessica Johansen, 8, said.

Nirupam Peetha, 7, enjoyed using blue textas and brown pencil to colour in his creations

"I enjoy coming here because I can make new things, that I haven't made before," he said.

It was their third day of the two-week Easter holiday.
