Rudd, Swan tipped to lose seats as Labor's support dives
HIGH-profile Labor figures Wayne Swan and Kevin Rudd could both lose their seats at the next election as Labor's support crashes to a new low in Queensland.
According to a Galaxy poll published in News Ltd papers, Labor's support has dropped to 28% - a 21 month low.
The News Ltd report said 43% of the party supporters are prepared to change their vote in Queensland, compared to only 30% for LNP supporters.
The LNP's primary vote remains steady at 46%.
According to the report, even Kevin Rudd's electorate of Griffith - Labor's safest in Queensland with a margin of 8.5% - would be a challenge for the party to hold.
Mr Swan, who went to Nambour High with Mr Rudd, is facing a similar battle for political survival.
