Young robotics challenger on board for engineering career
THE constant evolution of technology and respective courses promises an exciting future for Year 11 student Edgar Maguta.
The prospective engineer, currently in his final years at Toolooa State High School, recently participated in a Robotics Challenge and imagines a future where technology will preside.
"I am curious about how technology is created," he said.
"I find it very interesting to watch how companies can use robotics on the field and how they plan to use this technology in the future."
The ambitious 16-year-old foresees a future in engineering, and is comforted to know state-of-the-art technology is being applied at universities across the state.
Mr Maguta is contemplating his future, but for now he is looking forward to a family holiday to Zimbabwe next week.
