Riverstone Rise gets ready for first wave of new homes
GLADSTONE'S $1.4 billion Riverstone Rise community is moving from strength to strength, with Stage 1 99% sold out and buyers getting ready to build their new homes.
Gladstone Regional Council recently granted titles on the 120 homesites in Stage 1, giving home buyers the green light to start construction on their new homes.
Riverstone Rise project director Grant Botica said it was a huge milestone for the first residents, who now owned their very own piece of Riverstone Rise.
"We're very pleased to offer our customers a range of high-quality, affordable homesites in a beautiful part of Gladstone close to the river. The lifestyle is simply unbeatable," he said.
"With civil construction on Stage 1 now complete and titles registered, work on Stage 1 is expected to progress very quickly over the next few months.
"Landscaping and installation of park equipment has commenced, which will deliver some great amenity for residents.
Mr Botica said they expect the new construction will drive even further demand for new land at Riverstone Rise, especially because Gladstone is such a competitive market.
"With Stage 2 homesites in the attractive Lilyvale Village starting from just $212,000 and located near a central lake, hike and bike trails and parks; buyers will need to get in quickly," he said.
"Stage 1 is almost completely sold out and Stage 2 is over 50% sold out.
"We urge all prospective buyers to visit Riverstone Rise as soon as possible to tour the community and speak with a consultant."
Mr Botica said Riverstone Rise was very much in demand due to its quality land and excellent location within easy access to shops, beaches, schools and amenities.
Located on the Boyne River, Riverstone Rise is just close enough to the Gladstone CBD to enjoy all the amenities and just five minutes from the popular beach community of Tannum Sands.
The community will be built on 496.6ha of land, which includes a proposed employment zone and proposed educational and retail precincts.
Over 128ha of the site will be dedicated to reserves, open spaces, parklands and playgrounds.
Over 4km of the site borders the Boyne River, providing fantastic views and great recreational opportunities.
Riverstone Rise will feature a wide range of amenity including parks, bike and hike trails, a childcare centre, a retail hub, a medical centre, a future primary school and river facilities to complement the 4.2km river frontage and all of the open space.
Existing educational facilities in the area include Tannum Sands Primary School, Tannum Sands State High School and St Francis Catholic Primary School.
Recreational opportunities abound, with residents only a 6.5km drive away from the Tannum Sands Beach, 1.5km from the Tannum Sands Country Club and next to the Dennis Park Sports Complex.
Riverstone Rise also has easy access to Gladstone Benaraby Road and the Bruce Highway. The project is expected to take 15-20 years for completion.
