River levels ease across Gladstone region
RIVER levels are continuing to ease across the Gladstone region, with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing its final flood warning this morning following Tropical Cyclone Marcia.
At Baffle Creek, river levels at Essendean Bridge fell below the minor flood level in the early hours of Monday morning and are continuing to ease.
This followed a minor flood peak of just above 5m on Sunday night.
The river level of Baffle Creek at Mimdale is 8.8m and falling.
Oyster Creek at Rapleys is 1.09m and falling, while Euleilah Creek at Hills Rd is 1.08m and falling.
Baffle Creek at Barnetts Rd was 0.62m and falling early this morning.
No significant rainfall is expected in the region over the next few days.
