ACDC tribute band bound for Tannum Sands this weekend

RELIVE the AC/DC classics on Saturday night at Tannum Sands Hotel when a nationally acclaimed tribute band performs.

The band, which is said to deliver a monster of a show, was formed in 2001 by rocker Larry Attard.

Its most recent visit to Gladstone was for the 2014 Gladstone Harbour Festival opening night.

"It's the biggest on the planet next to the real thing," Larry told The Observer before a Gladstone show. We've done The Footy Show three times.

"We appeared on their big grand final show at Darling Harbour. We've travelled all over Australia and the rest of the world.

"We have an (upcoming) tour of Ireland, Spain, the UK and everything in November.

"The thing is we cover Bon Scott, who was their singer until 1980. We cover his material as well as the latest.

"They get to hear the old stuff that they necessarily wouldn't hear AC/DC even doing. It's two and a quarter hours. They get to hear everything.

"If people come, they have one of the greatest nights of their life. That's what people tell us."

Tickets are available at and are $20.
