READER LETTER: Traffic lights will create chaos at Kin Kora

I HOPE I'm wrong.

I foresee no possible way that a traffic light will do anything but create traffic backups (at the Kin Kora roundabout).

The whole point of a roundabout is that traffic can continue to flow and most of the time the Kin Kora roundabout works just fine.

The whole point of a traffic light is to prevent flow (with the misplaced idea that an intersection will somehow work better).

The new 25m intersection will be a step forward for inconvenience.
