POLICE NEWS: Search for stolen car, theft and a drink driver

Stolen car:

THE Gladstone Police are searching for a stolen blue Holden commodoore.

The car was stolen yesterday morning from Glen Eden and has been spotted several times since.

Gladstone residents have phoned the police with reports of a driver driving erratically in the 2004 model car.

At 3.50am the driver evaded police at Kirkwood Road.

The owner of the car has also spotted it.

Theft:

An Engel fridge was stolen out of a truck overnight.

Opportunistic thieves took advantage of the unlocked truck, that was parked outside a south Gladstone business, stealing the fridge.

Engel fridges can be worth anything between $800-$2000.

Stolen car found

A Mitsubishi lancer that was stolen at the weekend has been found.

The car was stolen from the Harvey Road football fields car park.

It was found on Red Rover Road. Investigations are continuing to find out who stole the car.

Drink driver

Just before 11pm last night a man, aged 25, driving along Toolooa St, returned a blood alcohol reading of .107.
