Man allegedly kicked in shop window after leaving court
A 29-YEAR-OLD had just finished facing charges in Gladstone Magistrates Court when he allegedly vandalised a business on Goondoon St just hours after leaving the courthouse.
Shortly after he had faced charges of possessing counterfeit money and trespass at the court at 2pm on Monday, instead of heading home to lay low, the man allegedly kicked in and damaged a glass panel at the front of a Goondoon St business.
Police were called to the incident at 4pm and the offender was still on the scene when officers arrived.
The man was arrested and taken to the watch house, where he was charged with one count of wilful damage.
He is due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court again at a later date.
