Old foes clash for league honours

THE season began with five teams vying for a spot in the grand final, but the competition has now been cut to two.

Tannum, Brothers and Calliope will be forced to watch from the sidelines tomorrow while Valleys and Wallabys battle for the Gladstone Rugby League Premiership, the exact same situation as last year.

Wallabys, having won last year's title, won their way through to the big match after a stunning end of match field goal to beat Calliope 17-16 in the major semi-final two weeks ago.

The Roosters were then given a second half to forget against the in form Valleys, who ran out winners 38-16 to earn their shot once again this year.

An epic clash seems to be ready to entertain. Will Wallabys go back-to-back or will Valleys claim the title?
