Mudcrabs host charity and family day
THE Gladstone Mudcrabs AFL club is hosting one of its biggest home games of the year on Saturday, with a family day and charity match at its Clinton Park grounds.
Proceeds from the day will go towards a new shed for the Mt Larcom fire service.
The family day event will be starting at 11am with a jumping castle, obstacle course, Colour in the Mudcrab drawing table, and fire truck tours.
Senior players will wear special game-day guernseys.
The Mudcrabs and opponents the BITS Saints, together with their supporters, will observe a minute's silence before the A Grade match at 6pm as a mark of respect for the late Adelaide Crow's coach Phil Walsh.
Game times are:
- U13 - 9:35am
- U15 - 10:50am
- U17 - 12:15pm
- Sub Juniors - 1:50pm
- Ladies - 3:05pm
- Reserves - 4:10pm
- A Grade - 6pm
