MP flips out over Bad Moms making a point
THREE of the world's top female actors have drawn the ire of a Queensland politician who is outraged over them flipping the bird in public.
Federal Moreton MP Graham Perrett reckons Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn, who are pictured pointing their middle fingers in the air in a movie poster, are being offensive.
The hands of The Bad Moms actors are pixelated on the posters that are plastered across Brisbane City Council owned bus shelters.
However, Mr Perrett thinks the image will have a bad influence on kids.
"It's not appropriate for the public," he told the Brisbane Times.
"I do have young children - I have an idea of what's appropriate and what's inappropriate.
"This isn't the internet, this isn't television - these are public spaces I am talking about.
"If they were so concerned about the rudeness of the gesture why not cover it than semi-conceal it."
Mr Perrett wants the BCC, outdoor advertising company Adshel and Roadshow Films to tear the posters down.
"I would be very surprised if the outdoor media association would have signed off on this according to the guidelines," Mr Perret said.
"This is yet another attempt by someone attempting to profit by shocking the family values of our community."
