Small school ready to put on big stage show

IT'S a full house at the Miriam Vale Community Centre tomorrow afternoon for A Knight to Remember the Musical.

Miriam Vale State School's 10th stage performance centres on three love stories with a few twists along the way.

Musical director Amanda Turner said the show might come from a small school, but it was not a small production.

"It is amazing how Miriam Vale comes alive and does something spectacular with full lights, mics and everything a show should have," she said.

Brandon Hornby, playing Lambert, will start the show with his Lambertines.

"The girls follow me around because I am not really such a great singer but that's part of the show," he said.

"The story line is very good...I'm not sure who will steal the show but hopefully it will be me."

Turner said everyone should know the songs. She also wanted to acknowledge the hard work from Lyn Harms and Chris Anderson.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday night shows can be bought from the school on 4974 6333.
