Miracle survival as man crashes car off 100m cliff
WITNESSES have described a Sunshine Coast man's survival as a "miracle of God", after he crashed 100m down a cliff and walked away.
The 34-year-old man was on his way home from a morning church service when he slid off the road and down a steep escarpment at Montville, near the intersection of Flaxton Dr and Main St.

Emergency crews were called the the crash about 12.39pm, but struggled to reach the Toyota Corolla down the steep incline in deep vegetation.
A line of witnesses and emergency workers were finally able to pull the man, strapped to a stretcher, back up the cliff.
Paramedics treated the man for chest, neck, back and internal injuries, and took him to a nearby oval where the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter had landed.

The man was airlifted in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A witness said the car flipped and slid another 50m on its roof as it tumbled, but the man was able to free himself from the wreckage and walk about 20m before collapsing in the witness' arms.
