Markets popping up in new Gladstone location

THE next round of Pop-up Enterprises from May 26 to 28 will boast a new atmosphere, relocating to THE Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre /Lightbox courtyard.

Gladstone mayor Matt Burnett said the Pop-up Enterprise trial would continue across the street from its original Library Square location.

"The new site will introduce a fresh vibe to the Pop-up Enterprise concept and the time stalls will operate will also slightly alter," Cr Burnett said.

The council's commercial services committee chair, PJ Sobhanian, said the changes were made following feedback after the debut Pop-up Enterprises last week.

"Members of the community have provided valuable feedback and appear keen to support the Pop-up Enterprise concept," Cr Sobhanian said.

"As a trial CBD venture, the versatility exists to adapt and modify the concept and adjust it to suit community needs."
