Man loses licence after running red light, causing crash
A MOMENT'S inattention can have a lifetime of consequences.
That was the advice given by Magistrate Russell Warfield in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday when sentencing a man who ran a red light.
The court heard Lindsey Joseph Toy continued through a red light on Derby St, Gladstone on October 8.
The defendant's vehicle collided with another car, significantly damaging both vehicles and sending an occupant to hospital.
Toy pleaded guilty, and was fined and disqualified from driving for two months.
