Making it count

BUSINESS women in the region were making morning tea count yesterday as part of the Cancer Council's annual fundraiser, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.

Gathering at the GAGAL head office, these ladies enjoyed cake, coffee and raising funds for the work of the Cancer Council.

GAGAL CEO Kerry Whitaker decided to organise the morning tea as part of GAGAL's ongoing commitment to the fundraising for a number of charities.

"I have a personal connection to cancer, as my daughter is currently recovering from lymphoma," Ms Whitaker said.

"After all, how nice is it for women to get together, have a chat and some morning tea and support a worthy cause in the process."
