Looking fur a pet? There are plenty of cats that need love

PURRRR.

If you long to hear that in your home, add the Friends of RSPCA Cat Adoption day to your weekend schedule on Sunday.

There's plenty of desexed, microchipped and wormed cats up for grabs.

Joint cat co-ordinators Betty Bridge and Anita Coad are overloaded with cats and kittens needing a loving family.

They said the ongoing issue continues that people are not desexing their cats.

"If you are considering buying a pet, don't purchase from backyard breeders, come to the RSPCA," Anita said.

Anita and Betty said they would consider giving discounts to people purchasing multiple cats.

To arrange or schedule a time for an adoption, phone Betty on 4978 6666 or Anita on 4973 7293.
