How did you get into the sport? I started playing netball in 2003 after watching my older sisters play for a few years.

So that's how I got into playing netball.

How much time does it consume of your life? Netball takes up quite a bit of time in my life.

I travel to Rocky three days a week for training then another day for a game.

Other than netball itself I am travelling for a fair few hours to get there and home.

Who do you admire or aspire to be like in your sporting field? I admire Carmen Anderson from the Ages Capricorn Claws as she has great vision on the court, is a fantastic netballer and always has something positive to say.

What is your goal for 2013? My goal for 2013 is to have fun and enjoy my first year with the Claws as well as to keep improving.

What is the most challenging aspect of your sport? The most challenging aspect of netball for myself is maintaining a high level of fitness.

What do you enjoy most about your sport? What I enjoy most about netball is being faced with a team who you are to play against not knowing their capability and trying to play your best.

I also enjoy how well the teams I am in work together and how everyone has a great friendship.

What has been your biggest highlight? My biggest highlight so far would have to be making the Ages Capricorn Claws team at the end of 2012.

The friendships I have made are lifelong and its all because of netball.
