Bikies should be, are being eroded from society
OH WHAT a busy and interesting week it's been here in Gladstone.
There's never a dull moment when you're working breakfast radio, and the last seven days has made me even more proud of the things I do.
Last week I had the pleasure of receiving two messages of support from listeners who didn't quite agree with my stance on an issue that affects us all here in CQ; the future of an equal and safe society.
I had two people lovingly express their gratitude of what I have been saying about the removal of the 'vile' and 'evil' illegal bikies from our great state.
They have both expressed with colourful language and terrible grammar their approval of what I have been on about and asked that I continue it to the full, something that I'll gladly do.
These 'illegal' members should be and are currently being eroded from our society because of what they do.
Some people are confusing these people with general and recreational people who ride bikes.
Let's be quite up front here. If you don't do anything illegal then you have nothing to worry about.
If you do illegal things then you shouldn't be allowed to be a member of society here in CQ.
These illegal bikie gangs have been taunting police for many years and have even gone so far as to say "we run this town not the police".
Well I'm sorry, these latest laws that the Queensland Government has brought in are working and these pests are slowly being broken up and moved on.
I'm not affiliated with any political party here in Queensland or federally, so I don't really care who is in power as long as good is being done, and I believe it is.
To those who continue to have a go at me for what I say in this paper of on my radio show, keep it coming.
I also put it out there as I do every day if you'd like to publicly express your comments as an adult and have a genuine adult conversation about this topic, stop hiding from your keyboard and join me in the 4CC studio and let's talk on air about it.
You can tell me why you are happy for these illegal bikie gangs to continue here in Queensland.
It should be an interesting conversation.
I look forward to it.
