Investigations continue into QAL caustic leak

STRONG and appropriate enforcement action will be taken by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection against Queensland Alumina Limited if the investigation into the caustic leak on June 10 reveals non-compliance on QAL's part.

The EHP's investigation into the extent of the potential harm caused by the leak is continuing.
