Incredible 5m python caught in Qld after swallowing cat
COR blimey! I'm glad this has never crawled down the drainpipe.
Snake experts in far north Queensland have wrangled this 5m scrub python from the Rainforest Nature Park at Kuranda near Cairns after a lady called for help after it swallowed her cat.

Even though this bad beast needed four people to carry it, the pythons can grow up to 8.5m.
Richie Gilbert put the image on his Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 Facebook page, along with an image of Dave Walton from Cairns Snake Removals wrapped up in a more petite python.
"Dave is no stranger to the big scrubbies," he said.
"He catches them regularly up there.
"Unfortunately we don't get scrub pythons down here on the Sunshine Coast.
"I wish we did though, I love em!!!"
VERY FULL SLIPPERY VISITOR HANGS AROUND EUMUNDI HOME
Plenty of folks on the Sunshine Coast are probably happier if they don't make their way south.
They tend to stay north of Townsville, but some have been spotted and captured along the Whitsunday coast.
