HOME AND LEISURE: Enjoy the show!

OUR special Home & Leisure publication is the perfect guide to what you will find at this year's Home & Leisure Expo, to be held at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre on Sunday, April 26.

The Home & Leisure Expo has been a successful event in recent years with the 2014 expo attracting nearly 4000 people to the new, exciting venue.

We have a number of key attractions just to interest the entire family:

  • Entertainment for the kids, as well as a jumping castle, spray on tattoos and sumo suits;
  • Food and drinks available throughout the day;
  • Various lifestyle demonstrations with crowd interaction; and
  • A great variety of exhibitors displaying their goods and services.

The The Observer general manager David Richardson said the event was in its seventh year and had built momentum in the community as well as among exhibitors.

"We've got nearly 40 exhibitors for this year's event," he said.

"The most pleasing thing is that it's not skewed to certain sectors. It's a good mix this year," he said.

"We have a great range of exhibitors from real estate and property development to motorbikes and solar power."

A fundraiser for the Gladstone Women's Health Clinic will be held throughout the day and we will be encouraging the public to donate generously to support its programs.
