Two men plead guilty to robbery at Mt Larcom home
TWO men will find out their fate next week, after they pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and robbery whilst in company in Gladstone District Court on Wednesday morning.
While the case was set to go to trial, an agreement was reached between the Crown prosecutor Susan Hedge and defence barrister David Murray, which resulted in guilty pleas being entered from Troy Desmond Thorogood and Geoffrey Lawrence Thorogood.
The robbery and burglary both were charged with took place on February 23, 2011, when both men robbed another man at his Mt Larcom residence.
Geoffrey Lawrence also pleaded guilty to one charge of producing dangerous drugs exceeding the schedule three amount.
He was found to have unlawfully produced in excess of 500g of the schedule two drug cannabis on February 24, 2011.
Judge Paul Smith adjourned the sentencing of both men to November 21, with both released on bail until their sentence date.
