Lance misses out on finding love through TV series
LOVE was in the air for everyone except Farmer Lance on The Farmer Wants A Wife.
Last night's grand final saw Rockhampton farmer Lance Jones confess his true feelings to his finalist Lisa, who was ready to continue her relationship with the charming Queensland cowboy.
"I've been out bush and thought about this a hell of a lot," Jones said.
"My heart wasn't 100 percent loving Lisa. You just know in yourself; every time you see that girl you get goose bumps (and), well the goose bumps weren't there."
The 52-year-old said he hasn't given up on love and has no regrets from his time on the rural dating show.
"I'm going to keep an open mind and an open heart," he said.
"It's been a hell of a journey and I have no regrets."
It was a rollercoaster ride for Jones, who admitted to being overwhelmed when he met eight single women in the first episode.
"You feel overwhelmed as a man," he told host Sam McClymont.
"You're a single guy and you've got eight ladies lookin' at you."
One of the four women Jones picked to visit his Gracemere property failed to show up for personal reasons and then dietary aide Karen also decided to leave.
The other five farmers, all of who were significantly younger than Jones, found love during the show, with April revealing she already has plans to move in with Pilbara cattle farmer Matt.
