Curtis Island projects a priority when industry chiefs meet
GLADSTONE projects will be front and centre when Queensland industry leaders meet in November for an annual energy skills conference.
Held in Brisbane, the Energy Skills Queensland event will feature Kevin Berg, Bechtel's general manager in Gladstone, as well as Arrow Energy chief Andrew Faulkner.
Arrow is still planning to develop a fourth LNG plant on Curtis Island, tipped to be worth about $20 billion.
The conference could come as Arrow waits on final investment decision for the Gladstone project, expected at the end of this year.
Bechtel is currently building Curtis Island's three LNG projects, for Santos-GLNG, Australia Pacific LNG and QCLNG.
Analysts have recently said that Arrow may team with one of the three existing projects, to add an extra train.
The Energy Skills Queensland conference will be held on November 4, at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane.
