Woman disqualified after blowing .208 during breath test
A GLADSTONE woman caught driving while five times over the legal alcohol limit appeared in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday.
The court heard Claire Elsie Makiri had consumed several bottles of wine on April 20 before driving.
She was intercepted by police on Kin Kora Drive, Gladstone.
Makiri was breathalysed and returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.208%.
The defendant was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined $1600.
