Fitness fanatics flock to Lorna Jane grand opening
WOMEN were queuing outside Stockland Gladstone ahead of its grand opening on Saturday, as they did on the store's first day last week.
During the grand opening about 130 women ranging in age from 15-75-years-old passed through the doors.
On day three of trading, state sales manager Paula McLachlan said women were queuing from 8am to get inside.
"The first 50 people through the door received a free goody bag," Paula said.
Shoppers Shavorne Leek and Danielle Johnston said they were glad to see a new retail store in town.
"Gladstone doesn't have that much to offer when it comes to shopping, so it's good to have another option," Shavorne said.
