Bushfire rages on with 15 crews on scene
UPDATE 4PM: FIFTEEN crews are on scene of a bushfire at Tannum Sands.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said firefighters were on scene of the bushfire which erupted on Plimsoll Crt.about midday.

The spokeswoman said the fire was in the vicinity of Broadacres Drive and Silica Rd, burning across more than 50 hectares of land.
"This fire broke out earlier today and is posing no threat to property at this time," she said.
"Firefighters are working to contain the fire and smoke may affect Tannum Sands and surrounds, including parts of the Bruce Highway.
"Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
"If residents are affected they should close windows and doors.
Those suffering a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately."
EARLIER: FIREFIGHTERS are on their way to a reported bushfire at Tannum Sands.
Reports came in about midday of a fire burning on Plimsoll Ct.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service are sending four vehicles to the blaze, with smoke expected to affect nearby residents.
The QFES website states: "Residents should close their doors and windows and keep medication close by if suffering from a respiratory condition.
"Motorists should use caution and drive to conditions. If you believe your property is under threat, you should call Triple Zero (000) immediately."
