Studying space is right up Jadon's alley

JADON Chetty could write a book on space.

The Kin Kora State School student is a space buff and is delighted to be studying the subject at school this term.

"We are doing an assignment on space and we get to compare planets, average temperatures of the planets and the role of an astronaut in NASA," he said.

Jadon finds the most interesting of the planets, Jupiter.

He said he's read a lot of books and information on the internet about it.

"I like Jupiter because it has interesting weather patterns," he said.

"It has had cyclones and storms going on for over 300 years."

Jadon said Jupiter has 67 moons and also has the highest gravitational pull out of all the planets.

So what will he do with all his knowledge?

"I want to be an electrical engineer or a physicist when I am older," he said.

"I like physics and chemistry at school."

And as for aliens, Jadon reckons they are out there.

"I believe in aliens but maybe in other galaxies and solar systems."
