WATCH: Toolooa grass fire moves closer to homes
A GRASS fire is coming close to houses on Flounders Cres at Toolooa where a patch of bushland is burning.
At least four crews are on the scene and the wind is pushing smoke and ash towards the homes.
Trisha Patchepp has lived in the area for 36 years.
She said there used to be a firebug in the area, someone who deliberately lights fires, but there hadn't been any for about 15 years.
"It burnt from Flounders down to Salmon drive in 15 minutes," Ms Patchepp said.
"I am surprised they haven't done back burning lately."
The fire was reported just after 5pm.
The two fires at Raglan and Mount Larcom are under control.
Multiple crews are still at the scene.
