Driver records 0.178 during breath test by police

A 37-YEAR-OLD man allegedly recorded a blood alcohol content reading of 0.178% on Saturday morning.

The man, who was intercepted by Gladstone police at 3.15am, was driving a vehicle along Pattison St.

Another drink driver was intercepted on Glenlyon Rd at 6.45am on Saturday.   The 51-year-old man allegedly had a BAC of 0.057%.

In other police news, a tablet computer has been reported stolen from a house on Wilkins St, West Gladstone.

The crime is thought to have taken place on March 14 between 1-2pm.

The matter is under investigation by police.

Police said the offence is not thought to have been the result of a break and enter.
